Fantastic Friday Policy
- The P.A.H.E "mission statement" reads: We are a diverse group of individuals who come together for the common goal of fellowship, support, education, and encouragement in the pursuit of home educating our children. We believe that religious, moral and political convictions cannot be separated from the educational process and life itself. Therefore, discussions among individuals on these issues and other aspects of child rearing, Bible based beliefs, family life and home education are inevitable and encouraged. Knowing and accepting all of this, each of us, in this group, continually strive to be sensitive and respectful of the personal beliefs, moral convictions, political persuasions, and educational views of everyone with whom we come in contact. The purpose of Fantastic Fridays is to allow homeschool families the chance to experience and learn new things and fellowship together.
- Parents MUST be present and are REQUIRED to teach or help in at least two (2) out of the four (4) class periods each Friday. If you are unable to meet this commitment, you must find a substitute and notify the Chair.
- All participants must sign up for classes by the registration date. The downloaded version of ALL policies MUST be signed and turned in at this time. Payment secures your child's place in the class.
- The success of Fantastic Fridays depends on the commitment of everyone involved. If you know that you will be missing several Fridays, please wait and join us the following semester. We are counting on full participation.
- Each family is required to do their share of clean up before they are to leave. You are also required to volunteer 1 hour a semester to P.A.H.E.
- All children participating must be signed up with the University of Illinois Extension Special Interest Group Fine Arts and Science Team for insurance purposes. See Leadership members if you have any questions.
- Cost of Fantastic Friday operational fee and a one time yearly membership are to be paid in full at the time of registration. If you are unable to pay these fees, please talk to the Leadership Committee, as there may be some scholarships available.
- Children who have a fever, are vomiting, have diarrhea, active cough, contagious rash, or are otherwise ill, must be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to the nursery. If there are any food allergies or serious medical issues please notify the Fantastic Friday Coordinator.
